eCHECKUP TO GO is a confidential, online self-assessment that helps students reflect on their alcohol and/or cannabis use. It provides personalized feedback, information, and tools to support safer decision-making and overall well-being.
Students may be asked to complete this assessment as part of a conduct-related educational requirement, or they may choose to complete it voluntarily for personal insight.

What Happens With the Results?
eCHECKUP TO GO is a research-informed screening and feedback tool commonly used by colleges and universities. It is not a test and there are no right or wrong answers.
The assessment:
- Takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete
- There is one for alcohol use and one for cannabis use
- Provides personalized feedback based on responses
- Encourages reflection, not punishment
Students may complete eCHECKUP TO GO if they:
- Are required to do so following a conduct or policy violation
- Want to better understand their alcohol or cannabis use
- Are curious about how their use compares to peers
- Are seeking tools to reduce risk or make changes
- After completing the assessment, a designated staff administrator will review the results.
- The staff member will schedule or conduct a one-on-one follow-up conversation with the student.
- This conversation is educational and supportive, focused on:
- Understanding the feedback
- Discussing goals or concerns
- Identifying resources if needed
Results are not disciplinary on their own and are used to support learning, accountability, and well-being.
