Tutoring Expertise and Passions

Having studied English and Philosophy, I love projects in those areas, especially ones dealing with late 20th and 21st century works. I spent time in Neuroscience and still have a strong interest in Biology and Psychology. I also teach English 1001 and 1002 at Marquette, bringing a lot of experience to any papers for those classes.

Citation Expertise

Good with MLA citations, competent but rusty in APA and Chicago.

Goals

  • Use gender neutral terms when specific gender is irrelevant.
  • Complete and assign workshops for Fall semester by October 1.
  • For writers who come in with assignments due a week or more from the conference, leave them with a business card and my availability to encourage further meetings.
  • Create digital space for writers to share their work and celebrate creative writing.
