Tutoring Expertise and Passions

Having studied English and Philosophy, I love projects in those areas, especially ones dealing with late 20th and 21st century works. I spent time in Neuroscience and still have a strong interest in Biology and Psychology. I also teach English 1001 and 1002 at Marquette, bringing a lot of experience to any papers for those classes.

Citation Expertise

Good with MLA citations, competent but rusty in APA and Chicago.

Goals

Use gender neutral terms when specific gender is irrelevant.
Complete and assign workshops for Fall semester by October 1.
For writers who come in with assignments due a week or more from the conference, leave them with a business card and my availability to encourage further meetings.
Create digital space for writers to share their work and celebrate creative writing.
