Marquette, Rufus King, Pius, and UWM at MKE Writing Center Meet-up

Over the past year, tutors at Marquette's Ott Memorial Writing Center have worked with high school students at Rufus King and Pius High Schools to establish their own peer tutor writing centers. During the Spring 2015 semester, Marquette tutors visited Rufus King High school to model a tutoring session, share their experiences, and answer questions. During the Summer 2015 semester, Pius tutors visited the Ott Memorial Writing Center twice to observe sessions and learn about peer tutoring.

On Thursday October 29, 2015, Rufus King High School hosted a MKE Writing Centers Meet-up. Eight Ott tutors joined tutors from Rufus King, Pius, and University of Wisconsin Milwaukee to share their experiences and learn more about each other's writing centers. We look forward to continued conversations and future collaborations.
