Student Organization Training
Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Trainings (ongoing additions)
Ongoing Leadership Development
Leadership is one of the pillars of Marquette. Leadership, in an Ignatian sense, encompasses being a contemplative in action—that is a reflective and active leader who is part of the community.
As student leaders we want to invest in your formation. All organizations were required to send one officer to Lifesavers Training last spring, and we are offering additional sessions this fall to catch orgs who could not attend. We are also requiring the president or another officer on the roster to attend a minimum of THREE Leadership development opportunities in fall 2023/early spring 2024.
Check to see what trainings you attended.

Marquette Civic Dialogues
The Marquette Civic Dialogues Program works to foster deliberation about the pressing issues facing our world today, prepare students to be citizens with purpose, and advance scholarship on civic dialogue. Through our programming and research, we encourage students to "Be the Difference" by engaging differences in political thought and lived experience.
See the schedule.
If an officer attends one of these, get proof of attendance and submit that via email with a note that outlines what organization you reprsent, what Civic Dialogue you attended, and how it impacted you/what you learned.
