Engineering Azure Cloud Lab

The Azure Cloud lab allows remote access to many engineering applications from anywhere with a stable Internet connection. This service is available to all Opus College of Engineering faculty, students and staff. 

Installation Instructions

1. Download and Install "Windows App" for Azure Virtual Desktop:

Windows App from the Microsoft Store (Best Option)
Windows App (64-bit Standalone Installer if Store Doesn't Work)
Windows App (ARM Processors - Not Intel/AMD)
Mac OS (Mac App Store)

2. Login using Marquette email address

3. Choose “College of Engineering – All Apps” as the Azure workspace

Use OneDrive to save your work or it may be deleted when you log off

Helpful Tips

• Sessions are limited to 4 hours
• Save your documents to OneDrive or they will be deleted
• Visit COE Technology Services (E-Hall 254) for help with any issues

Web Client

The web client lets you access your Azure Virtual Desktop resources directly from a web browser without needing to install a separate client. This link may be used when there are problems installing or using the desktop client application. Note this does not work on mobile browsers. You must use FireFox, Edge, Chrome or Safari on Windows, Mac, or Linux.
