Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) and Aerobic Sludge Densification Wastewater Technologies Short course

June 23rd and 24th, 2026 | Day 1: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Day 2: 8:00am - 3:15pm| synchronous in-person and online attendance available
This short course has been designed to walk you through the processes of sequencing batch reactor activated sludge as well as aerobic sludge densification processes including granular aerobic biomass. Topics build from fundamental principles to case histories. 

Immersive PLC Programming Workshop: Combinational and Sequential Logic

This workshop will guide engineering professionals through PLC programming topics with hands-on activities using a real PLC connected to hardware with sensors and actuators. Participants will learn how to formulate behavioral requirements for automation systems and convert those requirements into programming instructions.

HMI Integration: Connection and Programming for Robust Control

Motion Control Workshop: System Components And Integration

This workshop will guide engineering professionals through learning motion control fundamentals with hands-on activities using industrial-grade motion control systems. Each participant will apply motion control concepts on equipment dedicated for their use. The set of equipment includes industrial-grade controllers and servo motor/drive systems, and a variety of motion systems (loads, guides, transmissions, and couplings).

Anaerobic Treatment of High-Strength Industrial Wastes
