E-Board Member Kaley Gilbert and Katherine Walsh representing Sigma Iota Rho, the National Honor Society of International Affairs, at Winter O-Fest 2022.Sigma Iota Rho, the National Honor Society of International Affairs, has an active and growing chapter at Marquette University thanks to the diligent and committed work of chapter presidents Lyric Glynn '20, Keeley Cronin '21, Katherine Walsh ' 22 and now Jack Hammerton (class of '23).  Sigma Iota Rho was recognized as the New Student Organization of the Year in 2020, quadrupled membership, and now hosts the Annual International Affairs Alumni Panel each spring.  The 2022-2023 school year promises to hold continued opportunities for students pursuing international affairs.  Sigma Iota Rho will be one of many international organizations hosting the INIA Kickoff event at which Suzanne McGuire (class of '94), and a double major in International Affairs and Political, Science will address the Marquette community.

ABOUT: Sigma Iota Rho is looking for new members. We are a student organization that recognizes the academic achievements of students pursuing coursework in international affairs. “The purpose of Sigma Iota Rho shall be to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies and to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs.”
