"INIA...it's the Marquette major that gives your study abroad context and credits."

Every semester, close to 100 Marquette students head off to study in another country. For most of these students the experience is one of the highlights of their undergraduate education. Study abroad is an extraordinary opportunity to immerse oneself in another society and experience its language and culture firsthand. It is a life-changing adventure. By studying abroad for a full year, a semester, or even a few weeks in the summer, you will discover the differences between cultures and the common bonds that tie us all together.

If you are considering studying abroad, it is never too early to start planning. You can begin by:

  • Attending information meetings.
  • Talking with students who have studied abroad.
  • Discussing your plans with your parents/guardians or significant others.
  • Discussing study abroad with your academic advisor.
