Academic Advising

Advisors are important advocates for students and often their first point of contact on campus. Students can find their assigned advisors online via the Student Homepage in CheckMarq.

Academic Advising at Marquette Business: Information will be communicated with you about academic advising by the university, college and your assigned academic advisor. More information about advising can be found on the Bulletin.

  • Schedule meeting with your academic advisor during the designated time frame each semester when prompted.
  • Prepare in advance of appointment
    • Completing the Advising prep form and save the responses and print your Graduation Checklist. Bring your responses and Graduation Checklist to your advising appointment.
    • Students who do not complete the Advising prep form and meet with their academic advisor during the designated timeframe will have an academic hold added to their account that prevents registration of future courses until the final day of assigned registration times.
