Academic Advising

  • All Marquette University College of Nursing students are assigned to an academic advisor. All undergraduate students are advised by a professional advisor. All Direct Entry Master's students are advised by a professional advisor. All traditional master's, DNP, PhD, and NAEP students are advised by their option coordinator or program director. Advisor offices are located in Clark Hall on Milwaukee's Campus and in the academic building in Pleasant Prairie.

  • Undergraduate Advising
    • Undergraduate students are required to meet with their advisor at least one time per semester. Advising may take place one-on-one or in a small group setting. Students should familiarize themselves with the advising timeline
    • Jordan Sadi is the advisor for most undergraduate students. Julie Radford is the advisor for students in specialty options such as Honors, ROTC and study abroad.

Course Registration

Our staff is here to help you if you need assistance registering for a Nursing (NURS) or Health (HEAL) course.

Clinical Placements and Health Requirements

Our Clinical Placement Coordinator secures clinical sites and assignments for all undergraduate and graduate students.

All students are required to upload health information to Required immunizations and documentation can be found via the undergraduate student handbook and graduate student handbook. Contact Castlebranch at 1-888-723-4263 for assistance uploading documentation.

 CPR and Uniforms

 The Office of Student Services organizes on-campus CPR classes each year. Students will be notified of dates, times and instructions for registration via e-mail. 

Students will have the opportunity to try on uniforms before purchasing. Students will be notified of dates and times to try on uniforms via e-mail. 

Students should refer to the handbook for CPR and uniform policies.

Student Employment Opportunities

Students looking for on and off campus employment and volunteer opportunities during their academic career can find them via JobConnection and Center for Community Service

Students searching for externships and post-graduation employment should utilize Handshake through the Career Services Center
