About the Award

The Thomas C. Anderson Teaching Award, named to honor a long time Philosophy Department Chair, is given to the graduate student instructor each year who has received the highest course evaluation scores, along with input from the Director of Graduate Studies and the Assistant Chair (teaching supervisor).
