February 2018 — Coloring enthusiasts everywhere will enjoy the #ColorOurCollections meme lighting up Twitter February 5-9. Libraries, archives, and museums around the world are digging into their historical print collections to scan images for printing and coloring by anyone with access to the internet and printer. The project, #ColorOurCollections, was launched by the New York Academy of Medicine and Biodiversity Heritage Library in 2016. As in previous years, coloring pages from scores of other institutions are being made available.
Marquette's Department of Special Collections and University Archives is jumping into the fun once again, offering a coloring book of gorgeous woodblock images from Ces presentes heures a luisaige de Romme fure[n]t achevees le viii jour Aoust.
