The University Faculty Committee on Budget and Financial Planning (UFCBFP) has been charged to “provide faculty with ongoing information and input regarding Marquette's budget and financial planning process” and to “respond to requests from the University Academic Senate (UAS) to present at UAS meetings to provide insight and clarification on budgeting or financial planning matters”.
The UFCBFP shall:
Request from the appropriate parties a full accounting of the budget shortfall in the context of the budget for the FY2024 that UAS and the campus community were made aware of on December 8, 2023;
Meet as a committee to discuss this information as soon as possible; and
Report to the UAS on findings and recommendations no later than the second meeting of the Spring 2024 semester.
