UAS Resolution of No Confidence in Executive Leadership Team
Be it resolved, that:
The Marquette University Academic Senate has lost confidence in the ability of its Executive Leadership Team – Acting President/Provost Kimo Ah Yun and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joel Pogodzinski – to lead Marquette in a way that enables faculty, staff, and administrators to fulfill the university’s mission.
The University Academic Senate will inform the Board of Trustees of the vote and will provide them with a summary of the discussion at the Senate meeting on Monday, November 18.
Context:
Overwhelming and unprecedented concerns raised by faculty across Colleges – including in some cases letters signed by entire departments – about the disastrous impact of decisions both made and proposed by the executive leadership team on the future of research and teaching at Marquette University.
Marquette University’s Mission Statement.
