Dr. Badar Al Lawati is a highly accomplished professional and educator with a diverse background in computer and information sciences. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer & Information Sciences from DePaul University, Chicago, Dr. Al Lawati has a rich academic and research experience that spans various technical domains, including Digital Payments, Digital Games, and Internet of Things (IoT).

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Al Lawati has excelled as a Business Systems Analyst & Product Manager. This extensive professional journey includes leadership in executing mid-large scale ICT products, digital transformation, IT systems integration projects, and product development. Known for dedication, perseverance, and a strong work ethic, Dr. Al Lawati is committed to achieving academic excellence and bringing innovation to the technology landscape.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice at the College of Business Administration, he is actively shaping the future of information systems and analytics education.
