Administrators

Several professional staff members oversee the operations of the University Apartments, including an Assistant Director, Residence Directors, and Coordinators.  These individuals also supervise the student staff members in the University Apartments.

 

Students

Graduate Assistants

Several Graduate Assistants work within the Office of Residence Life and the University Apartments.  These professionals-in-training work closely with students to build community and create programming within the on-campus residences.

 

Apartment Managers

Student Apartment Managers oversee the facilities and operations of our apartment buildings.  They supervise the front desks and manage check-in/check-out, apartment tours, mail delivery, apartment turnover, and apartment keys.

 

Desk Receptionists

The Desk Receptionist (DR) position is the most visible position in the Office of Residence Life serving as the initial representative of the residence hall or apartment building on Marquette’s campus. The DR is first and foremost, a safety and security checkpoint for the building.

 

Student Receptionists

The Student Receptionist (SR) position operates within the administrative offices of Residence Life and the University Apartments.  These students provide customer service and direction to residents / tenants of the residence halls / apartments as well as parents, facilities staff, and people outside of the university community.

 

Community Assistants

Community assistants - including the Global Village Community Assistant - are responsible for publications and marketing projects, collaboration with Community Programming Councils, and  student leadership development. They are expected to contribute to the implementation of the Office of Residence Life Mission Statement, to value and empower fellow students.
