Specialize in Anatomical Instruction

Students in this specialization will acquire an advanced expertise in gross human anatomy including skills needed for effective communication and critical thinking for careers involving anatomical instruction.

Instruction of human gross anatomy requires not only specialized knowledge but also specialized training in cadaver-based dissection. This specialization will equip students with the dissection skills and cadaver-based teaching experience for careers at the college, university and health professional levels.

The specialization will also include coursework in:

  • Human microanatomy 
  • Neuroanatomy
  • Embryology
