Emma grew up in Minnesota and started at Marquette University in 2022. Prior to her time at Marquette, Emma worked in a variety of roles in higher education and communications. Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication and Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication & Media Studies at the Diederich College of Communication. She loves studying and discussing how communication technologies and media are constantly changing the ways we think, write, socialize, connect, and represent ourselves and the world around us. Emma finds it incredibly meaningful to support Marquette students in their unique journeys to find, choose, and build rewarding careers and lives for themselves. Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, crafting, and taking care of her houseplants and two cats.
