Research Interests

Presented and published research in Vilnius, Lithuania, St. Petersburg, Russia, and Athens, Greece. These scholarly works include current technologies and its effect on the choral art of Eric Whitacre, nanosculptures of Jonty Horwitz, and the compositional style of Olivier Messiaen. I enjoy the orthodox and the innovative specializing in early Italian organ music, carillon development, the American folk music tradition, music for theater and film, and twentieth century performance art.

Professional Experience

Directed choirs and performed on organ and carillon nationally in America and internationally in Germany, The Netherlands, France, and Italy. Most recent compositions include music for the theatrical productions of Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cherry Orchard, and As You Like most recently the new time strike, Joan of Arc, at MU.
