Ford Foundation Fellowship Program (Dissertation and Postdoctoral)
Amount: $25,000 and $45,000
Deadline: 12/6/2018

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents (holders of a Permanent Resident Card), as well as individuals granted deferred action status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program (DACA) program. Individuals should be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university.

Department of Defense Smart Scholarship for Service Program

Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or United Kingdom at time of application. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to participate in summer internships at a DoD facility, willing to accept post-graduate employment with the DoD, a student in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, pursuing a technical undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the disciplines listed.

Scholarship is open to any existing college student or incoming freshman (to be enrolled in the Fall of 2018 in good academic standing) who will be a full-time student.

National Debt Relief Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited 4-year university or college located in the U.S. Graduate students and undergraduate students can apply. Graduating high school seniors with a GPA of a 3.0 or above are also eligible to apply. Applicants must be pursuing or intending to pursue their bachelor's degree which can be in the fields of STEM.

Rising Stars: Interior Design & Architecture Scholarship
Amount: $2,500
Deadline: 1/1/2019

Must major in a design-related field (examples: architecture, interior design, landscape design/architecture, furniture making, industrial design, engineering, etc.) and demonstrate an interest in a design-related career. Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA. Open to current college undergraduates and graduate students. Applicant must upload at least two examples from their design portfolio.

IWEA Clean Water Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Deadline: 1/31/2019

Applicant must be an Illinois resident or attend an accredited Illinois college or university. Have completed at least two years of their undergraduate education at time of the award. Graduate students are also encouraged to apply. Have a cumulative college GPA of at least 2.5. Be a full-time student enrolled in a water related field of study such as civil or environmental engineering, environmental science, or wastewater systems operation.

The F. Edward Hebert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program
Amount:  Full-tuition and monthly stipend

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, be enrolled full-time and qualify to become a commissioned officer.  Student must be pursuing an advanced degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, psychiatric nursing, optometry or psychology.  The U.S. Army Medical Department will pay 100 percent of tuition for a graduate-level health care degree and a $2,000 monthly stipend.  Recipient is obligated to serve one year of active duty for every year the scholarship is received.
