Room characteristics are not rolled from term to term. Enter or select the room characteristics required for all classes/sections. Requested room characteristics are not guaranteed.
All general pool classrooms are considered Smart and include wireless network connection (WI-FI), projector with audio, screen and/or monitors, podium or cart with PC and/or laptop connections and DVD capabilities.
Please Note: only one L-room characteristic should be requested. Classrooms do not have more than one layout; therefore, multiple layouts cannot be satisfied.

Room characteristic 06: Doc Camera
Includes a document camera.
Room characteristic 07: Wireless Projection
Provides access to project from a PC, iPad or phone.
Room characteristic 08: Active Learning
Includes movable/flexible furniture, multiple projectors and interactive displays.
Room characteristic 09: Enhanced for Hybrid Teaching
Includes a Pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera with remote directional and zoom control. These rooms also have additional microphones, which allows for 1 & 2- way distance learning with lecture capture. Most of these rooms have dual instructor monitors; if these are required add characteristic 21.

Room characteristic 15: L - Fix. Tablet Arm Desks
The layout consists of fixed tablet-arm desks.

The layout consists of movable tablet-arm desks.
Room characteristic 17: L - Computer Lab
The layout consists of fixed tables with computers and moveable chairs.
Room characteristic 21: Dual Instructor Monitors
Includes two monitors on the podium.

Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for CHEM classes.
Room characteristic 25: FILM Equipment
Ideal for classes that show many films.

Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for BIOL classes.
Room characteristic 27: GEEN Lab Materials
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for GEEN classes.
Room characteristic 36: EECE Software
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for EECE classes.
Room characteristic 39: Access to MSCS Network
Provides access to the protected MSCS computer network.
Room characteristic 40: Periodic Tables
Includes periodic tables.
Room characteristic 41: Education Teaching Supplies
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for EDUC classes.
Room characteristic 42: ANTH Materials
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for ANTH classes.
Room characteristic 46: Choir Equipment
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for choir classes.
Room characteristic 47: Orchestra/Band Equipment
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for orchestra and band classes.
Room characteristic 49: BISC Equipment
Includes specialized equipment or supplies intended for biomedical sciences classes.
Room characteristics 56: Chalkboard Only
These rooms only have chalkboards. Add this room characteristic only if a whiteboard is not acceptable.

These rooms only have whiteboards. Add this room characteristic only if a chalkboard is not acceptable.
Room characteristic 59: Windows - None
These rooms have no windows.
Room characteristic 62: Tiered/Sloped Floor
These rooms have a tiered or sloped floor or tiered furniture to allow those in back better site lines.
Room characteristic 70: Disability Access Needed
Select this characteristic when the instructor assigned to the class requires an ADA accommodation. When possible, select an additional room characteristic that mitigates the disability. (For an instructor with a chalk allergy, add room characteristic 70 = Disability Access Needed as well as 57 = Whiteboard Only)..
